Dr. Barrera performed an otoplasty and lip lift. Most surgeons only do these procedures under general anesthesia. My surgery was done completely under local anesthesia. For me, it was easier than going to the dentist. I felt great afterwards – no nausea, pain or grogginess that comes with general anesthesia. I felt like I could have driven myself home.
