Often after hair transplantation with techniques that were previously standard, such as plugs, disfigurement consisting of typical clumps of hair (Barbie doll appearance), and corn field rows may occur. These cases can be corrected by adding follicular micrografts and minigrafts in front and around the hair plugs, and sometimes reducing the size of the plugs and recycling the hair follicles within them back as micrografts.
